The team at Morris & Dewett Injury Lawyers is proud to call Shreveport home. In addition to providing outstanding legal services, the firm strives to play an active role in supporting local communities. This year, Attorney Trey Morris has made numerous charitable donations including to Bossier City’s “Shop for a Cop” program, which seeks to provide Christmas presents to children from the community.
Each year, the Bossier City Police Local 645 along with the Bossier Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #39 take on the role of Santa Clause, treating children in need to a Christmas shopping spree. This year’s event was held on December 15th and brought smiles to the faces of 70 children. In addition to helping provide kids with a happy holiday season, the program acts to build relationships between law enforcement and the local communities.
Protecting and supporting children in the community are of great importance to the firm. Keeping with this philosophy, Attorney Morris has also made charitable contributions to organizations including several local Shreveport schools, Mt. Olive Baptist Church youth programs, and the 2016 Bossier Little League All-stars.
The firm looks forward to continuing their community support and involvement into 2017 and beyond.
