Shreveport School Bus Accident Injures Seven

Last week, a school bus carrying 33 students was hit head-on by a car. According to officials, the woman driving the other car was going the wrong way leading up to the collision. She herself sustained critical injuries. She was sent to LSU Hospital. Also injured were five children from Summerfield Elementary, but fortunately, their injuries were not life-threatening. The bus driver likewise sustained noncritical injuries. These six were sent to Willis Knighton North and South hospitals. There are no further details on the cause of the bus accident.

All too often, another motorist's recklessness can cause catastrophic accidents, not only for themselves but for others also. These accidents can lead to debilitating injuries, leaving innocent victims and liable parties alike with steep medical bills and potentially months of recovery. What can make these collisions especially tragic is how preventable they are. Whether that means not taking to the road after a few drinks, or refraining from cell phone use while driving, a responsible driver can make the road safer. Whether you have suffered from a drunk driving accident, a crash caused by a distracted driver, or some other collision caused by a reckless motorist, you are entitled to compensation. This payout can be what you need to tackle your medical bills, to compensate you for pain and suffering, to help with lost wages, and more.
