Russian Crash Landing Kills Four Victims

While planes may be among some of mankind's greatest inventions, it is also very true that they may be one of the most dangerous. The ability to travel great distances while flying thousands of feet high is a miracle in-of-itself, and yet because of such great heights, if anything goes wrong with the plane itself or the pilot, many lives are placed at risk, if not completely taken. Unfortunately, this was the recent tragedy for victims in Moscow, four of which who lost their very lives.

According to news reports, a Russian passenger plane crash landed in a Moscow airport, killing four people. It was stated that the small plane was flying in from the Czech Republic with a discount carrier called Red Wings. What confuses many investigators is the fact that there are very different reports regarding the details of the flight and the plane itself including varying information about why the plane was flying in; for repairs or to drop off passengers.

It is believed that there were approximately 8 to 12 people on the passenger plane, all of which were allegedly crew members. News reports state that the plane had previously attempted to land, and at 4:35 this morning was going for its second attempt at landing. Upon landing, the plane missed the runway and slid into a local highway crashing into a number of pieces, all of which quickly caught in flames.

While the airport in the Czech Republic states that the plane passed all inspections prior to take off, there are still many questions concerning the reasons behind the crash. Sadly, both the pilot and co-pilot were killed in the crash so it may be difficult to get all of the details of the causes. This event may have occurred across the world, though plane accidents are not uncommon here in the U.S. In the event that you or someone you love was injured or killed in a plane crash, contact a trusted personal injury attorney at Morris & Dewett Injury Lawyers today!
