Joseph B. Odom received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Louisiana Tech University. Prior to attending law school, Joseph served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and completed two tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Joseph received his Juris Doctorate and Graduate Degree in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. While in law school Joseph was nominated for membership in the Wex Malone Inn of Court based on his performance during LSU Law’s annual Trial Advocacy Program.
Prior to joining Morris & Dewett, Joseph practiced law in the areas of insurance defense and commercial litigation. Joseph represents families and individuals in all types of personal injury cases. He is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and Shreveport Bar Association.
